At Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, our approach to treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is spearheaded by Dr. David Danish, who brings extensive experience in utilizing a wide range of psychiatric medications, supplements, and in select cases, medical marijuana. His comprehensive method focuses on addressing anxiety from multiple angles, ensuring each treatment plan is individually tailored to the patient’s needs.

In addition to medication management, we offer various non-medication therapies that are integral to our treatment approach. This includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process underlying traumatic experiences that contribute to anxiety. We also use Neurofeedback, a computer-based intervention, to retrain brain function, offering a novel approach to managing anxiety symptoms. Furthermore, we are exploring the potential of the newest forms of therapy, which has shown promise in facilitating deeper discussion and processing of traumatic experiences in therapy. These therapies are designed to help patients break through defense mechanisms, fostering openness and trust in the therapeutic setting. Our holistic approach ensures a comprehensive and effective treatment plan for each individual facing GAD at Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry.
